Photographic Story

My original goal had been to hike up and get a good night shot over the Chamonix, France valley with the stars as the background behind Mont Blanc on this night, but the weather had other ideas. Low-hanging clouds and drizzle kept me from venturing out too far, but I found the streets and buildings in Chamonix to be interesting enough to photograph by themselves. I had been fascinated with the church in the left of this photo, and decided to try a shot with all the street lights and lamps on. The glacier hanging down off of Mont Blanc in the background is known as Glacier des Bossons.
