Photographic Story

After driving through rain coming into the mountains, I had a feeling there might be a decent sunset or rainbow from the clouds that were swirling around. After driving out of the rain, a vivid double rainbow revealed itself over Blanca Peak in the Sangre de Cristos of southern Colorado. This was shot near sunset from the road leading north to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve.
