Photographic Story

On this particular evening, snow was coming down hard, but every hour or two, the storm would break and the sun break through the clouds creating some spectacular atmospheric scenery. While waiting for the clouds to break over the Maroon Bells, I shot some more unique shots of the surrounding forest and mountains. This particular one came out really good. I love the contrast of the vivid orange aspens with the dark green pine trees. The layers of the pine trees are also interesting, as the fade off up the mountain.
