Photographic Story

I was racing across Arizona and southwest Colorado all day hoping to catch a sunset up on the pass between Cortez and Telluride in the San Juans. I had considered Trout Lake as a good option, as I had been there years before and found it beautiful. While I made it just in time, the sunset never materialized. However, the moody clouds coupled with the summer wildflowers still made for a gorgeous scene in the San Juans!
