Photographic Story

This beautiful little creek drains out from the lower Blue Lake in the Sneffels wilderness near Ridgway, Colorado. Blue Lakes sit in a small basin at the base of Mt. Sneffels. Just around the bend of this stream is a gorgeous waterfall. One of these days I'd like to take a backpacking trip back up here and go across Blue Lake pass into Yankee Boy Basin near Ouray.
