Neuschwanstein Castle Photography
Perched high above the forests of Bavaria, Neuschwanstein Castle is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Germany. Built in the 19th century by King Ludwig II, it is certainly one of the most photographed castles in the world. The castle’s dramatic towers rise above the rugged foothills of the Bavarian Alps and create one of the most iconic landscapes in all of Europe
This gallery currently features a number of fine art photographs of Neuschwanstein captured in the spring during changing light and weather conditions, including a beautiful sunset and sunrise. it also includes a moodier scene after sunset as I was hiking down to my car and saw the lights on the castle turn on, highlighted by the dark clouds behind it. These photographs highlight the castle’s fairytale architecture against the surrounding mountains and forests.
Each of these photographs are available as museum-quality fine art prints and crafted to bring the beauty of Germany’s landscapes into your home or office.
I have deep German family roots and plan to continue to add to this gallery. As the collection grows, additional photographs from across Germany will be added, including historic villages, alpine scenery and other iconic locations throughout Bavaria and beyond.
