Frontier Military Historic Byway

The Frontier Military Historic Byway spans the majority of the eastern border of Kansas. Starting in Leavenworth, the Frontier Military Historic Byway weaves it's way through Lansing, Overland Park, Fort Scott and Pittsburgh before ending down in Baxter Springs. While considered an historic byway, the Frontier Military Historic Byway also packs a number of beautiful natural features. A number of lakes are nearby the drive, along with a few of the prettiest waterfalls in Kansas. Make sure to hit the two highlights of Angel Falls in Lansing, Kansas and Rock Creek Falls near Fort Scott, Kansas.
