Cowley State Fishing Lake is located east of Arkansas City. The lake is located in a deep valley. It is also famous in Kansas for Cowley Falls, a waterfall in the spillway of the lake that can be one of the most impressive in the state during times of rain. Cowley State fishing Lake is also a prime fishing, camping and all around outdoors paradise in south central Kansas!
