About Kanopolis Falls

Kanopolis Falls are located in the spillway area of Kanopolis State Park, to the east of the dam. There is ample parking and a step path down to the Smoky Hill River. You have to cross the rocks to your right afterwards to reach the falls. Further down the river are some more little cascades. There is also a tiny man-made waterfall in the creek that empties just below the main waterfall if you take a left from the initial pathway.
