Photographic Story

This image was taken at Bear Lake near sunset. When I first arrived at Bear Lake that evening, the lake itself was fairly calm. As sunset neared, the wind picked up and killed off any reflection. And the way the clouds were moving, there was almost no color lighting up the clouds. I was pretty disappointed at the time, as only the mountains themselves lit up with light from the setting sun. But after looking closer at this image, I'm fairly pleased with the result. No still reflection in the lake or brilliant red, purple and orange hues in the clouds, but the photo has it's own subtle charm.
