Bellagio Lake Como Photography: Iconic Steps and Lakeside Views
Hundreds of cobblestone steps wind their way down toward the shimmering waters of Lake Como. I photographed from this angle to draw the viewer into one of the most iconic scenes in Bellagio, which is known as the “Pearl of Lake Como”. This charming Italian village is filled with narrow alleyways like along with vibrant architecture and some absolutely timeless lakeside beauty.
I was immediately drawn to the symmetry and leading lines of this pathway. The cobblestone steps are framed by colorful buildings and soft natural light. It’s a scene that perfectly captures the romance and elegance that Bellagio and Lake Como are known for. I had to return more than once to get the area without tons of people, and finally found a cloudy morning with light rain my best bet to photograph the scene. The drizzle and dampness added a bit more saturation to the colors of the scene and really set it apart from other attempts.

Details from the image emerge from the acrylic in an almost HD-like appearance due due to the transparency layer that is infused with iridium particles and is encapsulated in a layer suspended between the white poly surface and Acrylic. I also offer upgrades to TruLife acrylic and both Lumachrome and Ultra HD acrylic papers.. The final product is finished with a recessed float mount that allows for easy hanging without the need of an external frame creating a modern gallery look that is perfect for any home or office. Additionally, Italian hand-made ROMA frames can be added to any acrylic piece.
Signature Series Chromaluxe Metal Prints (Ready to Hang)
Using a method called dye sublimation, Chromaluxe is my choice for metal prints. Chromaluxe metal prints are created by taking an archival fine art print and infusing it into an aluminum sheet, creating a much more durable and visually stunning product than printing directly to aluminum like other metal print methods. Surprisingly light-weight, Chromaluxe metal prints are resistant to scratching while having that shiny, high gloss look that makes an image pop! Larson Juhl and box framed Chromaluxe metal prints are available upon request.
Signature Series Frames (Ready to Hang)
While all of my mounted print styles come ready to hang without the need of an external frame, sometimes collectors want that extra touch of elegance. For that reason, I offer ROMA frames on all of my acrylic, metal and canvas prints. Plaque mount prints can also be framed with Larson Juhl frames. Standard styles include the Tabacchino line, but other ROMA lines are available on request.
