About Soden's Dam Falls

Located on the Cottonwood River on the south side of Emporia, Kansas, Soden's Dam Falls sits near an old 1920's bridge at the site of a mill that no longer exists. I visited it a number of times when I was younger, but have only been there once with my camera in recent years. It was right after heavy rains and the little bit you could see of the falls was tossing around tree limbs and debris with ease!
