The Great Plains stretch across the heart of North America. Open skies, rolling prairie and quiet backroads define this region's landscape. This collection features fine art photography from across the region, including Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and the northern plains.
Some of my best work in this region is rooted in the Flint Hills of Kansas. This part of Kansas and Oklahoma is one of the last remaining tallgrass prairie ecosystems in the world. From the sweeping sunset skies to misty mornings over wildflowers, these images are the centerpiece of this collection. They are what showcase the character of the great sea of grasses that make the Great Plains such a unique and under-rated part of the world.
I am always looking to expand this collection, to show the many places and faces of the Great Plains. It already covers much of Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, with plans to expand the collection into the Dakotas, where much of my family originate from. These regions are what define the American interior and make it so special.
