Photographic Story

This was my third trip to Hanging Lake so I figured I'd try for a different shot of this beautiful lake. I found a patch of grass that had a few wildflowers blooming to use as the foreground and shot the scene you see. The color of the water in Hanging Lake is created by travertine. Travertine is known for creating some of the world's most gorgeous places, including Plitvice in Croatia and Huanglong in China.
