Photographic Story

I named this shot The Frozen Road because everyone keeps thinking the French 'Mer De Glace' glacier shown here is a winding road at first look. When I tell them the glacier is miles long and probably close to a mile across, they are in awe. An old steam rail station takes you up to this vantage point. This was taken from the edge of the patio before the hiking trail. The clouds and mountains in the background added to the splendor of the glacier.
