About the Photo
Cape Flattery is the northwestern most point in the contiguous United States. It is part of the Makah Reservation and is known for it's beautiful sea caves and shoreline. Just off it's coastline is Tatoosh Island, where a lighthouse is present. The atmosphere was somewhat foggy and eerie on the day I visited. Just off the coastline a whale was also passing by. However, the coastline was what drew my attention. Rugged sea caves and interesting rock formations were everywhere. This was shot towards the south from one of the major lookout points.
