Alcove Spring Trails

Alcove Spring Trails

There are about five miles of trails at the park at Alcove Spring in north central Kansas. The most used trail is likely the one that leads to Naomi Pike Falls, but many of these trails wander through forest, alongside meadows, beside creeks and cascades and lead to a number of beautiful vistas of the surrounding countryside. Keep an eye out for historical spots, such as carvings on the rocks from the 1800s as travelers made their way across the Oregon Trail that intersects the park.
