Pawnee Prairie Hiking Trails

Numerous paths exist at Pawnee Prairie in west Wichita. There are multiple entrances to the main paths. One is off of Tyler on the south-east side of the park. One is on the west side of the park, accessible from Pawnee. And another small parking lot can be accessed off of Harry on the north side of the park. There are many different paths, and lots of connecting points so that you can walk as little or as much as you wish! The main marked trail is about five miles long, but there are lots of little trails that intersect the park in various places. Cowskin Creek follows a lot of the path, and deer frequent the area regularly. Horseback riding is also allowed.
