Wakarusa River Falls

These beautiful falls are situated on the Wakarusa River just down from where it drains out of Clinton Lake near Lawrence just to the north of Eagle Bend Golf Course. To find it, if you're going north on E 902 Rd, turn off just before the spillway, and follow the drive to the end. Park and head down to the river to view the falls. Wakarusa River Falls are a popular fishing spot. The day I was here, lots of fishermen were out in the water.
